AVIVA Indoor Athletics - European Trials and UK Championships

Returning to the EIS-Sheffield for the sixth consecutive year, the European Trials and UK Championships will offer another opportunity for British hopefuls to gain their places in the GB team heading to the European Indoor Championships in Turin, Italy from March 6-8. The meeting also decides the National Champion for each event, so effectively, this is two events in one.

Local star Jessica Ennis provided some of last year's highlights and it is hoped that she will be fit enough to compete again this year.

Whist times are still to be finally confirmed, it is likely that the doors will open around 10am on Saturday, with athletic action beginning around midday.
