Sheffield Christmas Market 2008

11th December 2008 to 14th December 2008

Sheffield City Centre

Since its first appearance in 1997, Sheffield's Christmas Market has grown in size and popularity.

The Sheffield Christmas Market has grown to around 50 - 60 traders in recent years who display and selling a large range of crafts, gifts including hand-made products like jewellery, artwork and clothing. This market has proved popular with people looking for a Christmas present that’s a bit out of the ordinary, and the decorated stalls compliment Sheffield's Christmas Lights to give visitors that festive feel. We are hoping that the traders will add to the festivities by dressing in period costume when trading on this market which is on Fargate from 11th - 14th December 2008.

In addition to the market stalls, there are also food vendors selling a range of specialist take-away foods including German Sausage, Roast turkey/pork, specialist coffees and pancakes.
