Fostering Information Evening

13th October 2010

Quaker Meeting House

Start Time: 5:45pm

End Time: 8:00pm

Most people who become carers had thought about it for months or even years before they took the first step. If you have been thinking about fostering an open evening is a good way to get more information to decide if it is right for you.

Sheffield City Council Fostering Service holds 8 open evenings a year for people who are interested in fostering to find out more about what's involved. The evening features a short presentation about why children might need to be fostered and the kind of people needed to become carers. After the presentation you will have the opportunity to meet with foster carers and ask them any questions you may have about what the realities of fostering are.

You don't have to register to come to this event, simply come along on the evening if fostering is something you have been thinking about.
